Our Mission

The mission of SeaQuestor Industries is to bring to the market an affordable personal submersible that provides superior maneuverability and power while having a minimum impact on the environment and on customers’ wallets.

As a certified scuba diver, architect and owner, David Colombo had a dream… to have the ability to “fly” underwater and stay beneath the waves for longer periods of times so that he could thoroughly explore all the mysteries of the ocean. After years of research and design refinement, David’s dream is about to become a reality with the creation of the SeaQuestor Flyer, a 2 person submersible designed to bring the ocean to life in an inventive and memorable way.

With an innovative business model in place, David is committed to bringing his dream to life while ensuring that his commitment to the preservation of the environment is evident at every turn. David and his team work diligently to not only ensure the reduction of the carbon footprint of SeaQuestor Industries, but to educate about creating solutions that support the environmental mission. SeaQuestor also actively supports the local community by outsourcing labor and materials locally, whenever possible, and by participating in community outreach projects. In other words, the SeaQuestor Flyer is a personal sub with a mission that goes beyond the exploration of the sea.

The SeaQuestor Flyer will allow explorers to become a respectful visitor to the underwater world with a minimal amount of intrusion to sea life. Ideally suited for researchers, educators, cinematographers, and recreational divers, the Flyer provides the high-quality construction, and state-of-the art technology needed to explore while making it fun to “fly” in the ocean.

“Through technology and actual experiences I want to show that by following your dreams, you can become part of the solution; become aware of the issues that face our ocean environments while experiencing the world beneath the waves. The dream has now become my quest that the Flyer will be a tool that will educate, create excitement about the possibilities of design innovation, and take people literally and figuratively to the depths of our oceans to learn about life under the sea and what we can do to protect it.” — David Colombo.
